The gym is led by head coach Michael Sanford, a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt who received his black belt on January 11, 2014 under Daniel and Diego Moraes. Professor Sanford has been training martial arts since age 5, starting with boxing and Kempo Karate before discovering his passion for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at 18.
