Evol Octopus Jiu-Jitsu Academy is dedicated to changing lives through martial arts, education, and coaching. Since opening, the academy has provided a safe, comfortable, and welcoming atmosphere for all students and family members in Pasco and the Tri-Cities community. The academy prides itself on creating an environment for individuals to achieve, develop, and succeed in their personal goals. The academy teaches world-class Gi and No-Gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, and Boxing for adults and kids of all ability levels. Their training philosophy emphasizes that martial arts can be for everyone, regardless of age, gender, or experience level. Students learn not only the necessary skill sets to protect themselves through realistic and practical approaches, but also develop life skills that enable them to achieve greatness and live their best lives. The academy is led by Professor Alex "Evol Octopus" Larmey, a 1st Degree Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt, former Army Officer, Disabled Combat Veteran, Master Combatives Instructor, C4C-PJJ Level 5 adjunct instructor, and Professional Submission Grappler with over 100 wins in dozens of rulesets and major promotions. With over 15 years of experience, Professor Alex has trained thousands of Soldiers, Law Enforcement Officers, Professional Fighters, Private Security, and everyday people. His contagious passion brings out the best in students whether they're 4 years old or 60. Sabrina Larmey, co-owner and coach, is a multiple deployment Army Combat Veteran, Tactical Combatives Instructor, licensed massage therapist with a BA in Criminal Justice, bringing 13 years of martial arts experience and a wealth of knowledge to the academy's staff.
