Marangoni BJJ, established by Rafael Marangoni and his younger brother Gabriel in 2008 in their hometown of Mogi das Cruzes, São Paulo, Brazil, has grown into a prominent brand in the BJJ space. Currently headquartered in Mogi das Cruzes, São Paulo, Brazil, Marangoni BJJ boasts eight affiliate academies across Brazil and Europe and is now establishing its U.S. headquarters in Salt Lake City. Both Marangoni brothers are fourth-degree black belts with over 20 years of experience teaching and competing worldwide. They have developed a distinctive methodology, as well as a system of lesson plans and exams, to better track and promote their students.
