Eleven Elevation Jiu-Jitsu

Founded on November 1, 2017, Eleven Elevation Jiu Jitsu Academy has grown from humble beginnings to become a prominent training hub in Wrightwood, California. The academy began in a small unit and later relocated to the historic Myers Building at 6069 Park Drive, built in 1924. Through countless hours of volunteer work from dedicated students, the building underwent a complete renovation to become a world-class training facility that exudes both elegance and functionality. The academy's mission is not only to teach self-defense, but to help individuals grow and become more successful. Eleven Elevation uses Jiu Jitsu as a medium to instill character development, self-motivation, confidence, discipline, and leadership. The academy offers classes for all skill sets, young and old, and specializes in working with students with disabilities. Head instructor Chad Keel's journey began in 2006 and took him to train under Paulo Guillobel, a 6th-degree black belt and multiple World Champion at the renowned Guillobel Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy in San Clemente. From 2013 to 2018, Chad served as an instructor for both children and adults at Guillobel BJJ. In late 2017, Chad received the opportunity from Sensei Paulo Guillobel to start his own academy. Since its inception, Eleven Elevation students have achieved remarkable victories in prestigious competitions including the World Jiu-Jitsu Championships, All Americans, and Pan-Americans hosted by IBJJF, JJWL, SJJIF, and NABJJF.
