Satori BJJ Academy is a family-owned Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu school in Phoenix, Arizona, founded and led by head coach Esdras Junior, a black belt competitor with an impressive international competition record. Esdras Junior earned his black belt through a distinguished lineage tracing back to Mitsuyo Maeda → Carlos Gracie → Hélio Gracie → Carlson Gracie → Ricardo Delariva → Iliarde Santos. With over 16 years of experience in BJJ and Judo, he has competed internationally including in Belgium, and has notable victories over high-level competitors including Silvio Duran from Nova União and Ermilio Lima from Fight Sports, even ranking ahead of UFC fighter Rani Yahya in his division. The academy offers programs for Tiny Titans (ages 3-5), Youth BJJ, and Adults at all skill levels, with a strong emphasis on creating a safe, family-friendly training environment.
