She is a graduate of Union-Endicott High School (2009) and New York University (2013). Most of her months out of the year are spent in India, as CEO of EduFund- a company she co-founded that strives to make education more accessible through assisting Indian parents and students to become more financially literate and aware. Eela is also the granddaughter of world renowned yoga guru, Dr. O. P. Tiwari, who is head of one of the oldest pioneering yoga institutes in the world, Kaivalyadhama Yoga Institute & Research Center in Lonavala, India. There, Eela has spent significant time guided by and practicing under the mentorship of her grandfather, and teaches at the Institute, as well as conducting yoga seminars throughout the world. In the past 7 years- during the few months out of each year that she returns to the Binghamton area, I’ve had the wonderful experience of facilitating her passion for boxing and training. Her inquisitive nature and constant pursuit for growth has been absolute joy for me to watch as a trainer.
