Tapping In Episode 13: Jiu Jitsu and Mental Health

Roye and Miguel discuss the benefits of Jiu Jitsu and mental health. While it is not therapy, in many ways it can be therapeutic. Jiu Jitsu is great way to clear the mind and focus on the direct task at hand. While fighting out of terrible positions we can learn to overcome uncomfortable positions on and off the mat. There is also a tremendous amount of comfort in finding a group of people that share the same form of stress relief as you, and often times similar personality traits. It's important to know that we are not alone in this world and there is always someone who understands us, sometimes right there on the mats with us.
