### We are not just a team - we are friends, we are family... We believe that the practice of BJJ is seen as a means to individual development and personal growth. Strength, self-awareness, respect, discipline and responsibility are common core values. Every new student deserves to start their journey with a strong foundation of basic techniques. This program teaches the basic techniques to help students develop their skills and prepare them for progression. The fundamentals program is designed to introduce new students to the basic and essential concepts of BJJ – to help them understand the movements so that they may develop a solid foundation to move forward to more advanced techniques. The advanced program is designed for students who are comfortable with the basics and fundamentals of BJJ and want to take their skill to the next level. The focus in this program is to apply comprehensive strategy to techniques. The nogi program is offered in both fundamental and advanced classes. Students will have the opportunity to learn grappling techniques that have been modified for the instances where there is nogi. This style of technique gives the student another perspective to BJJ which in time will broaden their strategy all round. The women’s program is a great opportunity to train with like-minded women in a comfortable non-confronting and inclusive environment.
