BlackSmith Jiu-Jitsu is a welcoming Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy in Niceville, Florida, devoted to the growth and well-being of members both on and off the mats. As part of the Trujitsu family under Professor Matt Baker, who received his black belt directly from Jean Jacques Machado in 2007, BlackSmith emphasizes the Trujitsu philosophy of maximum results with minimal effort. The academy is built on core values of trust, faith, loyalty, respect, and integrity, creating a family atmosphere where students learn not just the art of Jiu-Jitsu, but also develop confidence, discipline, and fitness. Led by owners and professors Lisa and Jimmy Smith, along with a dedicated team of experienced instructors, BlackSmith offers comprehensive programs for all ages and skill levels. The academy offers Adult BJJ classes, a women's-only program called Lioness Jiu-Jitsu led by Professor Lisa Smith, and children's programs including Little LionHeart (ages 4-7) and LionHeart (ages 8-16). Additionally, they offer Yoga for BJJ to help students increase flexibility and athleticism. The school also provides custom gis, no-gi attire, and various BJJ accessories through their pro shop.
