AXT Jiu-Jitsu is a veteran-owned Fox Valley business located in Yorkville, Illinois and has been operating here since 2008. We are associated with the Yorkville Area Chamber of Commerce and have received the honor as being voted by our community as one of the "Best of the Fox" Top Martial Arts Schools in the area.​ BusinessRate also awarded us the accolade of the "Best Martial Arts School" in Yorkville for 2025. ​ Our instruction focuses on Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, a martial art and combat sport based on standing grappling, ground fighting and submission holds. There are regular youth classes, adult Morning Jitz, 101 (fundamentals) and adult 201 (modular) classes in both Gi and NoGi, including a Women-Only Jiu-Jitsu session (high school age & up) which is designed to introduce women to Jiu-Jitsu in a safe training environment at a convenient time. We are also the only Jiu-Jitsu school in the area that has a dedicated BJJ For the Street session where self-defense is the focus.
