DJ Team was founded in 2008 by Professor David Juliano Lemes, a 4th degree black belt. Professor David holds a degree in Physical Education from Universidade do Vale do Paraíba, a post-graduate degree in Sports Training from Universidade Gama Filho, and is a certified pedagogue from Universidade Unicesumar in Abu Dhabi. The mission of DJ Team is to meet the needs and objectives of each student, offering dynamic and differentiated training through Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu that promotes improved quality of life and physical conditioning. The academy focuses on providing personalized attention to help students achieve their individual goals, whether for fitness, self-defense, or competition. Today, the DJ Team methodology can be found in various cities throughout Brazil and around the world, with affiliated academies in Scotland and China. Professor David Juliano Lemes leads the team with over 15 years of experience, combining his expertise in physical education and sports training to develop a comprehensive BJJ program.
