Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Firenze - Rio Grappling Club Firenze

Rio Grappling Club Firenze is an international Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu team founded in 2003 by three-time world champion Roberto Atalla, a 4th-degree black belt from Brazil. The Florence academy is led by Professor Matteo Calamandrei, a 1st-degree black belt who serves as the head instructor. With numerous affiliated schools across central Italy, Rio Grappling Club Firenze actively competes in major national and international competitions, consistently achieving significant results. Matteo's martial arts journey began in the late 1990s, pioneering combat sports training in Wrestling, Judo, Submission Wrestling, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
