Siri Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy provides a high-level jiu-jitsu class led by fourth-degree black belt, Professor Gustavo Pires. Professor Gustavo received his black belt by his professor, Master Carlos Gracie Jr., in 2003. Professor Gustavo has been teaching for over 20 years and has taught in different places around the world such as Roger Gracie Academy in London, England, Gracie Barra headquarters in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and a couple Gracie Barra schools in Southern California. He is the founder of Gracie Barra Joinville in Santa Catarina, Brazil, as well as Gracie Barra Mission Viejo. Siri BJJ offers instruction for individuals of all ages, families, and law enforcement officials. We strive to be a reference for physical education, character development, self-defense, and world-class Brazilian jiu-jitsu training for Tri-Cities, Washington and the surrounding areas. ### Our school is for everyone and anyone who is looking to learn self-defense, get in shape, and improve their quality of liFE. Our family-oriented environment is a perfect place to teach your children to feel safe every day not only when they are at school or outside playing, but where a situation of bullying may arise. Brazilian jiu-jitsu also helps develop their self-confidence and discipline. At our school, you will receive hands-on attention from our world-class instructors who will monitor your progress in a safe, clean, and family-friendly environment.

It's a mess, I know.

My goal is to build the most comprehensive BJJ encyclopedia anywhere — but good, accurate data is genuinely hard to come by. Records, gyms, belts and nationalities are pieced together from public and community sources, so some of it is incomplete, outdated, or flat-out wrong.

That's where you come in. If you spot something off, tell me and I'll fix it — every correction makes this better for everyone. This website wouldn't be possible without the community.
