The academy was founded by Gregg Anderson, the Harrisburg area's first black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and a 3rd degree black belt. Gregg, a detective by trade, has over 15 years of experience teaching arrest and control tactics to military and law enforcement. Alongside him are co-owners David Brogan, a 4th degree Judo black belt and 2nd degree BJJ black belt who is an attorney and licensed MMA referee, and Luis Rosa, a 3rd degree BJJ black belt who is a Criminal Justice professor with over 20 years of experience.
