Andrew strives to help each student reach their full potential. Andrews passion is evident in his consistent training, competing, and achievements. The gym is part of the internationally renowned 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu network founded by Eddie Bravo, specializing in no-gi grappling techniques designed for MMA and self-defense applications. 4Honor Academy

4 Honor Academy is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Martial Arts gym located in Bantry, West Cork, Ireland. Founded in 2022, the academy has grown from humble beginnings to consistently ranking in the top three BJJ gyms in Cork in competitions. The unique training facility is housed in a converted nightclub within the Bantry Bay Hotel, featuring a spacious dancefloor transformed into a BJJ practice space complete with padded walls, soft floor mats, and overhead disco lights. The academy was founded when Bantry native Barry O'Donovan, who discovered BJJ while living in Massachusetts, teamed up with world champion black belt Hudson Lee from Brazil to establish West Cork's first dedicated Brazilian Jiu Jitsu school. The head instructor is Guilherme (Hudson's cousin), an experienced brown belt who arrived in Ireland in January 2023 to run the academy's day-to-day operations. Under his leadership, the academy has rapidly expanded with structured programs for kids, teens, and adults. 4 Honor Academy has achieved remarkable competitive success for such a young gym. In their first year, they placed second out of 22 academies on the Cork circuit and second overall at a Dublin competition, bringing home six gold, seven silver, and eight bronze medals. Most recently, nine students from the gym competed at the IBJJF European Kids Tournament, earning five silver medals and one bronze. The academy also runs an active outreach program, visiting local schools and sports teams to teach the basics of BJJ and promote flexibility, mobility, and agility training. Walter Cascao, Brazilian-born, started training Jiu Jitsu in 1991 and has since traveled the world training, competing, and spreading his knowledge as a Pan American Champion and North America Champion. The head instructor, Gaspar "JunBug" Agabin, is a purple belt under Robert Drysdale with over 20 years of martial arts experience. Born in 1975 in Rio de Janeiro, Guilherme started training at age 15 and received his purple belt from Mestre Royler Gracie at just 18 years old. He earned his black belt in 2001 from Mestre Saulo Ribeiro, making him part of the first generation of Ribeiro Jiu-Jitsu black belts. Since 2017, Professor "Caju" has led Alliance in Fortaleza, representing the team with the most world titles in history. Alliance has approximately 200 affiliates worldwide and is an 11-time World Champion in men's division and 10-time World Champion in women's division. With 17 years as a black belt, Professor Caju has graduated over 30 black belts, including world champion Bruno Becco, one of the greatest exponents of Jiu-Jitsu in Ceará. The academy is located inside Crossfit Rek and features a fully air-conditioned dojo with 100m² of Olympic-grade mats. The facility offers free private parking.
