We spent a week fully immersed in São Paulo's jiu jitsu culture. We trained at competition-level sessions with colored and black belts running separate mats, worked the small details that decide matches, and experienced the kind of high-intensity camp that is simply impossible to replicate back home. Between sessions, we stayed in Atibaia, a small town outside São Paulo where the air is clean, the pace is slow, and the recovery is real. We visited the Soldiers São Paulo academy, explored local markets, compared food prices, and shared meals with teammates who came from places as far as Moscow to be part of this camp. When jiu jitsu pulls people from three continents to the same mat, something special is happening.
