We spent a large portion of our Sunday Session on 8.24.25 working on mastering head and arm attacks. After some neutral sparring to get warmed up, we moved into games centered around controlling the front headlock position and finding ways to submit an opponent with head and arm variations.
I was particularly impressed with High Noon's Nate Marsh and Silverback's Cam Hurd for their excellent feel from this position. They have both worked hard over the years to build high submission skill from the head and arm position. Building skill in this area has been particularly fruitful for both athletes as it perfectly complements the front headlock skills gained from many years wrestling at the high school and collegiate levels.
As usual, we worked hard, had fun, and got a little bit better. ⚔️
