Continuing from the last video, we talk a bit about dealing with reverse De La Riva - a common, effective inversion mechanism from the guard. If we fail to address it early, the guard player can create opportunities to off-balance the passer, entangle the legs, and even expose the back.
Here we briefly demonstrate framing at the hip to prevent the guard player from rotating underneath and note that a careful study of pressure application can be helpful both in maintaining our base while passing and limiting the guard player's offensive opportunity.
