During last week's Sunday Session, I got a great question about dealing with an opponent who wants to invert underneath the hips to off-balance or expose the legs for attack. This led us into a solid discussion on stopping inversion preemptively and dealing with "scoop" grips.
My goal in sharing this is not only to share useful knowledge but to hopefully provide a more real alternative to the plethora of sanitized, highly choreographed content out in the wild.
