Grappler vs Striker: Which style of fighting works best at the Elite level?

Sean O'Malley recently defeated Aljamain Sterling via TKO. This sparked the conversation between JT & Joey about the elite grappler Vs Elite Striker debate as to who would prevail. This recent fight shows that a superior striker in the form of Sean (Who also grapples) took out an ultra tough grappler Aljamain ( who also strikes.) There are many examples of this classic combat style match up where grapplers have gotten the better of strikers.
