Do your Kids do BJJ? Are they the reason you got started on the Jiu-Jitsu journey? For many of the Older generation of BJJ folks they got introduced to BJJ through seeing Royce Gracie in the early days of the UFC. But more recently JT has noticed a trend of BJJ parents who have started training because their kids are into it. A good gym will have a great kids program and this leads to parents sitting around watching the kids having all the fun. Also no-one wants to get choked out by their 8 year old.
Joey talks about the importance of teaching your kids the value of losing and why setting an active example is important for creating a bond with your kids.
Children follow what their parents do not what they say, mothers and fathers getting on the mats ensures their kids stay on a healthy track and the whole family benefits.
