All bouts are contested in a **no-gi format** (rashguard and shorts). **U15:** 4-minute bouts **U17, U20, Seniors:** 5-minute bouts **Submission** — tap or verbal submission ends the match immediately **Technical Superiority** — a 15-point lead ends the match **Points** — highest score at the end of regulation time wins **Overtime** — if tied at the end of regulation, criteria then overtime submission round applies Opponent steps out of bounds: 1 pt Takedown (controlled, 3 sec): 2 pts Amplitude Takedown: 3 pts Fast Takedown Bonus (within 3 sec of restart): +2 pts Reversal (controlled, 3 sec): 2 pts Side Mount (controlled, 3 sec): 3 pts Full Mount (controlled, 3 sec): 4 pts Back Mount (controlled, 3 sec): 4 pts Submission Attempt (real danger, escaped): 1 pt Note: Dominant position points follow a **progressive scoring system** — positions must be improved to be re-scored (Side Mount → Full Mount → Back Mount).
