**Description:** Welcome to Hong Kong Winter Brawl Jiu Jitsu competition! This exciting event is designed specifically for those who are interested in learning and competing in the sport of Jiu-Jitsu. Our team of experienced instructors and referees works hard to ensure that all matches are conducted in a safe and fair manner. We believe that competition is an important part of the learning process for everyone, and our goal is to provide a positive and supportive environment where everyone can challenge themselves, and have fun while learning the art of Jiu-Jitsu.

RULES FOR COMPETITORS

1) NO slamming opponent

2) NO heel hooks or twisting knee locks

3) NO striking

4) NO biting, hair-pulling, or eye-gauging

5) NO cervical neck cranks

6) NO jumping

Scoring System:

In BJJ competitions, a competitor can win a match by submission, points, or referee's decision.

Here's a breakdown of the scoring system:

Throws and/or takedowns: 2 points

Knee on belly: 2 points

Sweep: 2 points

Passing the guard: 3 points

Top mount position: 4 points

Control from the back (Back mount and/or Back Grab): 4 points
