**Description:** The BJJ Finnish Championships 2016 will be held on November 26-27, 2016, in Vantaa. The event features divisions for men (white, blue, purple, brown/black belts) and women (white, blue, purple/brown/black belts), including open weight classes.

The Finnish BJJ Federation (SBJJL) offers a €300 travel subsidy to winners of specific belt divisions (blue, purple, brown/black for men; blue, purple/brown/black for women) for the IBJJF European Open 2017. Additionally, all open class winners will receive a €300 subsidy for a competition trip within the following year. Participants must hold an SBJJL license for 2016 and be Finnish citizens or permanent residents for at least two years.

Competitors will weigh in with their gi on before their first match. Official IBJJF rules apply, with match durations varying by belt level. Allowed gi colors are white, blue, and black. Spectator entry is €10.
