**Description:** The BJJ Finnish Open 2012 will take place on April 14th to 15th in Helsinki, Finland. Champions of blue belt and elite weight categories will win a flight ticket to IBJJF Mundials 2012.

The competition features divisions for white, blue, and elite (purple, brown, and black) belts, including absolute categories for both male and female competitors. Fights will follow IBJJF official rules, with elite categories fought under purple belt rules. Fight times are 5 minutes for white belts, 6 minutes for blue belts, and 7 minutes for elite belts. Weigh-in will occur with the kimono on, immediately before the first fight. Allowed kimono colors are white, blue, and black.
