**Description:** The BJJ Finnish Open 2014 is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competition held on May 10th-11th in Vantaa, Finland. The event features various weight and absolute categories for male and female competitors across white, blue, purple, and brown/black belt divisions.

The Finnish Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation (FBJJF) offers significant sponsorships for champions. Blue, purple, and brown/black belt (blue and purple/brown/black for women) weight category champions receive 800 euros for travel costs to IBJJF Mundial 2014. Absolute category champions in these belts receive an additional 200 euros (male) or 100 euros (female) for Mundial travel. White belt absolute champions receive 100 euros (male) or 50 euros (female) for travel to any competition within the next year.

Sponsorships are reimbursements for verified travel costs (flights, registration, accommodation) up to the specified amounts. The competition follows IBJJF official rules, with specific fight times for each belt level. Weigh-ins occur with the kimono just before the first fight. Allowed kimono colors are white, blue, and black.
