# DOMINANCE KIDS AND TEENS ROUND ROBIN JUNE 11

## Overview

**Event Type:** Competition

**Description:** We will send out an email to all registered competitors the week of the competition with all the information and any requirements for the competition day. If at any point you need to withdraw due to illness we will carry forward your registration credit to use next year.

Kids 3 minute matches / Teens 4 minute matches.

Separate brackets for white, grey, coloured belts & teens.

Round robin format.

IBJJF rules.

Staggered start times and medal presentations.

Better competitor match ups.

You will notice there is one big weight division for each of the belts/ages in the registration. This is just an arbritrary division based on our historic registrations. If you fall outside of this range please get in touch with us PRIOR to registering, so that we can proactively try and find enough competitors of a similar weight to make good divisions. Weigh ins will be conducted in the Gi.

We do not have set weight categories (that often lead to divisons with only 1 or 2 competitors!). Competitors will be bracketed with the closest 4 competitors in weight, to ensure everyone gets at least 4 matches, win or lose. These brackets will be decided on the day once everyone has weighed in.

Win by sub - 3 points

Win by points - 2 points

Draw - 1 point

Loss - 0 points

At the end of all rounds points are tallied up and whoever in the bracket has the most points is the winner.

This is a Gi competition.

 Weigh in times will be messaged and emailed to parents when registrations close on the Thursday before the competition. Make sure you check these times so you know when to arrive at the venue. Once all the competitors in that divison are weighed in, brackets will be created. Medals are awarded for 1st and 2nd place as soon as each bracket within the division is complete.

Registrations are limited to 120 competitors and sell out in advance. Be sure to get in early to avoid disappointment.
