KIDS

We’ll be following the AFBJJ ruleset for this event. Please review the full rules here:

Matches will be decided via referee decision if a submission does not occur.

DIVISION MERGERS

We'll do our best to keep competitors in their original divisions. However, if a division only has one participant, we’ll merge it with the closest appropriate division—based on age, weight, and skill level. All merges will be carefully reviewed and approved by our coaching team to ensure fair and safe matches.

KIDS & WHITE BELTS

Beginner - 6 months or less (White Belts)

Intermediate - 6 months -  18 months of training (Grey/white, Grey, Grey/black)

Advanced - Yellow/white and above

ADULT/TEENS White Belts & Blue belts

We’ll be following the AFBJJ ruleset for these divisions. Please review the full rules here:

ADULT Purple/Brown/Black Belts will be merged in advanced following the Brown/Black Belt rules for IBJJF, allowing heel hooks, rotational leg locks and knee bars. If you wish to enter this division, please be aware of the rules.

WEIGH-INS

✔ Please weigh your child with the GI on before registering.

✔ All competitors must weigh in again on the day, anytime from gym opening until 30 minutes before their division starts.
