# Empower Women's BJJ Tournament

## Overview

**Event Type:** Competition

**Description:** This is a women's only tournament, it will be GI and it will be open to white, blue and purple-belts- juvenile, adult and masters.

It will be a submission only format and will follow legal submissions for white blue and purple-belts under the IBJJF rules.

The matches will be 4 minutes long for white belts, 5 minutes for blue belts and 6 minutes for purple belts and will be in a round robin format and you will be awarded points as follows:

Loss due to submission- 0 points

Match ends with no opponent being submitted each competitor receives- 1 point

Victory due to submission- 2 points

When all competitors have faced their entire bracket total points will be added to determine the winner via most accumulated points

In the event of a tie in points there will be an overtime round to determine the winner

You will NOT need to weigh in with the GI on

You must make the weight you register for or you will be disqualified without a refund
