RULES and GUIDELINES

We’ll be following the AFBJJ ruleset for the below divisions:

Kids/Juvenille divisions & White and Blue belts adults

Purple/Brown/Black belt divisions will be merged and will be following the Brown/Black Belt ruleset, allowing Heel hooks and other rotational leg locks.

Matches will be decided via referee decision if a submission does not occur. Referees will decide a winner based on control and submission attempts throughout the match. ________________________________________________________________________________________

 DIVISION MERGERS

We'll do our best to keep competitors in their original divisions. However, if a division only has one participant, we’ll merge it with the closest appropriate division—based on age, weight, and skill level. All merges will be carefully reviewed and approved by our coaching team to ensure fair and safe matches.

WEIGH-INS ✔

Please weigh your child with the GI on before registering. ✔ All competitors must weigh in again on the day, anytime from gym opening until 30 minutes before their division starts.

We have limited spots; make sure you don't miss out! We do not take late registrations or registrations at the event.
