**Description:** At Invictus we want to provide a safe and fun environment for kids to compete, especially for the first-time competitors or the kids that want to get one more competition in before the end of the year.

We want the kids to experience competition in a small and safe environment without the stress of some of the bigger competitions.

This competition will be focused on kids looking at trying their first competition

Competition date Saturday 25th 1pm start , weigh ins 12.30pm

Registrations close midday Friday 24th November

**Age 4-15**

Boys and Girls

Kids 3 min matches

Teens 4 min matches

Round robin format

IBJJF rules

**CATEGORIES:**

White Belts

Grey Belts

Yellow, Orange and Green Belts

Within the above categories divisions will be based on close as possible to weight and age to ensure the best possible match ups. The round robin format means that your child will get to compete with all the other kids in their division which means plenty of experience on the day, divisions with only 2 competitors they will fight each other twice to find the winner of the division

There will be some divisions that will have mixed belts but we will try and match up best as possible, if anyone isn't happy with the match ups a full refund will be issued.

Medals are awarded for both 1st,2nd,third place. We will do our best to ensure fair match ups and that all competitors have a great time competing, the day will be more about the kids experience in competition than the WIN.

**FORMAT:**

The competitors will be split up across 4 competition mats and will start at 1.15pm sharp. Medals we will be awarded as soon as each category is complete. This will significantly reduce the number length of the day for individual parents and kids as well as make the gym less crowded and more comfortable, the event will be finished by 2.30pm
