About This Event
This event, now featuring both Gi and No-Gi divisions, will be held at Myalo Martial Arts in the Kilkenny, promising a day of exciting matches and valuable experience for all participants. The competition will follow a Round Robin format where possible to ensure multiple matches for each competitor, maximising their time on the mats.
If children are alone in their division when brackets are published, they may be mixed with others of similar belt level, weight, and/or age. Brackets for both Gi and No-Gi will be released two days before the event (8th October 2026).
Please note: We do not mix boys and girls in brackets unless agreed upon by guardians/coaches and referees on the day.
Safety is a top priority, with highly experienced referees ensuring fair and safe matches and professional medics on-site to handle any medical needs, providing peace of mind for participants and families.
Our family-friendly venue offers excellent facilities, creating a welcoming and supportive environment for young athletes and their families.
TIERED SEATING AND WARM UP MATS ADDED for 2026.
Medals will be awarded to podium finishers in both Gi and No-Gi divisions.
Entry fee (includes NEW cool medals for 2026)
€35 - Gi or No-Gi only
€40 - Both divisions (discount applied at check-out)
Weigh-ins will be conducted on arrival and competitors should arrive no more than 45 minutes before their bracket starts due to the size of the Gym and number of spectators.
Medals will be awarded as soon as possible after each bracket concludes.
Please monitor match times throughout the day, as they are subject to change.

Time: Doors open at 8:30 am, event starts at 9:00 am.

Deadline: Competitors need to be registered and may make changes until 5pm on October 7th 2026.
Refunds: If we are unable to get a match for your child on the date we will give you a refund (less processing fee - €5) OR you can choose to receive a credit for the next event.
