# King Of The Mat Grappling Series - Mattoon, IL > Competition in Mattoon, Illinois, United States | June 04, 2022 – June 05, 2022 ## Overview **Event Type:** Competition **Description:** 🏆June 4th - Mattoon, IL - Kids Training Grounds and King of the Mat event! Here is the divisions. Schedule: Kids Training Grounds Divisions starts at 9:30 AM King of the Mat - White Belt 175 & down starts at 12:30 PM KOTM - White Belt 175 & up starts at 2:00 PM KOTM - ADCC NoGi All Ranks starts at 3:30 PM 🏆Kids Training Grounds, $25.00 to compete, per division, Gi and No-Gi. Kids guaranteed 4 matches per division and a ref seminar after explaining mistakes and giving tips to improve. Ages 5 to 14, Great practice tournament. Kids Training Grounds: It will be a round-robin tournament with a guarantee of 4 matches (depending on 5 person bracket). 3 points for submission win and 1 point for point/decision victory. All matches will be 3 minutes. Illegal techniques will be covered at the referee meeting. Illegal submissions are leg locks, spinal manipulation, and wrist locks. 🏆King of the Mat 3 divisions. ✅White Belt 175 & Under ✅White Belt 175 & Over ✅NoGi ADCC Rules 130 to 230 lbs. King of the Mat is a grappling series event $50 entry fee. This event is designed to not only give you the max matches potential but also winning it will be of the highest prestige. Every online signup with receive a free T-shirt for participating. (Must register and pay online.) The event works very simple, last person standing is the winner. 2 min rounds, if you don't get tapped you have a limited amount of time to get new partner, if you get submitted your are out. So you could potentially have 1 match like every other tournament or you could have 35 matches... just depends on how long the event goes. Last person standing is your king of the mat. Location Precision Combat is located behind Detection Security in Mattoon, at 2800 Marshall Ave. Access parking by entering 28th street.
