# No-Gi Finnish Championships 2016

**Description:** The No-Gi Finnish Championships 2016 will be held at Hervanta Leisure Centre in Tampere on February 20-21, 2016. The Finnish BJJ Federation (SBJJL) will support 27 weight class winners (blue, purple, and brown/black belts for men; blue and purple/brown/black belts for women) with 300 EUR towards travel costs for the IBJJF No-Gi European Open 2016. Additionally, all seven open class winners will receive 300 EUR for a competition trip within the following year. Support is reimbursed against receipts.

Participants must have an SBJJL license for 2016. The competition is open to Finnish citizens and individuals who have resided permanently in Finland for at least two years. Various weight classes are available for men (white, blue, purple, brown/black belts) and women (white, blue, purple/brown/black belts), including open classes. Open class registration must be done in advance, and competitors must participate in their own weight class to be eligible for the open division.

Weigh-ins occur with competition gear before the first match. The dress code requires a rashguard and plain black shorts (boardshorts). Women may also wear black spats. IBJJF official rules apply, with specific match durations for different belt levels. Spectator entry is 10 EUR.
