**Description:** The No-Gi Finnish Open 2014 was held on September 20th in Helsinki. The Finnish Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation (FBJJF) sponsored absolute category champions: blue, purple, and brown/black belt winners (blue and purple/brown/black for women) received 800 euros for travel costs to the IBJJF No-Gi Mundial 2014. White belt absolute champions received 100 euros (men) and 50 euros (women) for travel to any competition within the next year. This sponsorship was a reimbursement for verified travel expenses.

The competition featured male and female divisions across white, blue, purple, and brown/black belts, with specific weight classes and absolute categories. Weigh-ins were conducted with rash guard and shorts before the first fight. Competitors were required to wear a rash guard and plain black board shorts, with specific allowances for tights/spats.
