# SUPER CUP GRAPPLING CHAMPIONSHIPS

**Description:** Super cup proudly presents its 2024 Brazilian Jiu Jitsu tournament. It will take place at Westsyde Senior secondary Gymnasium in kamloops BC, on January 27th 2024 starting at 9am . Doors open at 8am for child weigh ins, Children's tournament commences at 9am . Adult weigh ins commence at 8.30am and must be completed before 9 am.  Children will be disqualified if found to be more than 2 lb over weight. Adult competitors must make weight. Weigh ins are done with Gi on and belt ( usually weighs 3-4lb). Competitors for NO GI may weigh in without Gi if fighting No Gi only. Adult Gi will commence at approximately 11am but is subject to change. No Gi for child and adult divisions will follow immediately after Gi divisions. Entrants will have a 2 match guarantee.

The event will be contested under standard IBJJF rules- check out the ibjjf website for the list of rules. We will be running both Gi and No GI divisions. The Gi competition is open to all children's divisions, as well as juvenile and Adult /master divisions . Adult and masters divisions are white belt to purple belt only. There will be only one masters division age 30 and over. There is a possibility that a purple belt open division may be added depending on the number of competitors registered. There will be a limit of 200 registrations for this tournament.

Kids Gi and No GI Divisions will be 3 minute matches.

Juvenile white belts 5 minutes- Juvenile blue belt 6 minutes.

Adult Gi matches are : white belt 5 minutes. Blue belt 6 minute matches. Purple belt 7 minutes.

All master divisions  are 5 minutes.

No Gi divisions are BJJ rank or time served- The divisions are:

White belt (or less than 18 month experience, IBJJF rules, 5 minute matches).

Blue belt (or between more than 18 months and less than 36 months experience, IBJJF rules, 6 minute matches).

Spectators are by donation for this tournament. Coaches require a pass for this tournament, this can be received at the door.
