With over two decades of experience, his journey includes participation in iconic events that have shaped the sport's history, such as Pride FC, Deep Japan, Strike Force, and notably the UFC. Recognized as the pioneer of the 'Anaconda Choke,' Miltinho Vieira has left an indelible mark on the sport.

Combining his roles as both an athlete and coach, he possesses a comprehensive understanding of every aspect of the sport, bringing a unique perspective to our training program. Currently, he is actively guiding and supporting emerging athletes and influential figures in Brazil's new generation. BJJ Black Belt and a Superstar Athlete With an impressive 12-year journey in the world of jiu-jitsu, Julia's unmatched passion for the sport sets her apart. Her innate talent for grappling was so remarkable that she achieved her blue belt within just three months of training. This rapid progression was followed by a string of victories, including titles at the Brazilian Championship, Pan-American, South American, and even the World Championships—both with and without a kimono!

However, Julia's focus extends beyond personal achievements. Driven by a deep desire to empower others, she has devoted herself to teaching. Julia's teaching approach is dedicated to refining your technique and individual skill set, providing a solid foundation for you to become a true master of the sport. The head coach is fluent in English, ensuring effective communication, and the welcoming atmosphere created by everyone at Rio Fighters will make you feel completely at home. Renowned as one of Rio de Janeiro's most prestigious gyms, Rio Fighters is acclaimed as the city's top NOGI facility. Founded by Miltinho (Milton) Vieira, the gym boasts a fully equipped training space spanning 150m², inclusive of an octagon for a well-rounded training experience.
