Fit Combat Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a team registered with the CBJJ (Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Confederation) since January 12, 2016. Founded by Professor Bruno Campos, the team was created with the goal of becoming independent and establishing a genuinely Sergipe-based BJJ team. Bruno Campos took on this new journey by applying his knowledge of sports management and marketing, innovating in the gentle art scene with the foundation of this new team.
The team has grown to include more than 18 affiliated academies across four Brazilian states: Sergipe, Bahia, Alagoas, and Pernambuco, with over 500 athletes training under the Fit Combat banner. The organization was built with rapid development in mind, from creating the logo and social media presence to affiliating instructors and athletes, and standardizing the teaching methodology.
Led by Bruno Campos, a 3rd degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and black belt in Judo, Fit Combat offers comprehensive training in BJJ with a focus on minimum force application, self-defense, ground exercises, guard work, transitions, attacks, submissions, and survival techniques. The team emphasizes a philosophy of respect, efficiency, and the principle that "the only way to defeat Jiu-Jitsu is to learn Jiu-Jitsu."
