Felipe Bezerra, the head instructor and founder, is a black belt in both Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Judo, training under the legendary Bruno Barreto of Checkmat - RN (Rio Grande do Norte). Born on June 11, 1991 in Natal, Felipe made history as the first Brazilian to win both the Professional and M1 world titles in the same championship edition, earning him recognition as a two-time World Champion of Professional Jiu-Jitsu. His lineage traces back through the Checkmat system, and he has competed at the highest levels including IBJJF World Championships, Abu Dhabi Grand Slam, and Continental Pro events.

ROXBJJ specializes in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Judo training for all ages and skill levels. The academy emphasizes competition training while maintaining a supportive learning environment. As a women-owned business (identified on Google Maps), ROXBJJ is committed to creating an inclusive space for all practitioners. The gym is located in the Candelária neighborhood of Natal, easily accessible for students throughout the region.
