Founded in 1993 by Romero "Jacare" Cavalcanti, Fabio Gurgel, and Alexandre Paiva, Alliance is recognized as one of the best Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu schools in the world, known for their technicality, quality, and professionalism. With over 300 affiliated schools spread throughout Brazil and the world, Alliance has produced hundreds of World Champions, including over 25 at the black belt level. Alliance Ottawa operates under the "Champion's Attitude" philosophy, which emphasizes awareness of the journey and focusing on the present moment rather than the result.
