Okami is a martial arts academy where, in addition to Brazilian jiu-jitsu, we train in various disciplines, such as MMA and boxing. Our goal is to create a friendly and supportive community that promotes a healthy lifestyle, environmental awareness, and camaraderie, while also fostering fitness, discipline, and teaching effective self-defense techniques.

My goal is to build the most comprehensive BJJ encyclopedia anywhere — but good, accurate data is genuinely hard to come by. Records, gyms, belts and nationalities are pieced together from public and community sources, so some of it is incomplete, outdated, or flat-out wrong.
