2 Brothers BFC - Feijó
2 Brothers BFC Feijó is a traditional Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy located in Feijó, Portugal, with a rich lineage tracing back to the legendary Carlson Gracie team. The academy was founded by brothers Júlio "Pudim" César da Silva Lima and Sandro "Bala" da Silva Lima, both disciples of the late Master Banni Cavalcanti. In 1999, Sandro "Bala" emigrated to Portugal seeking a better quality of life and began gathering a small group of students at the Complexo Desportivo do Feijó, becoming one of the pioneers responsible for introducing and spreading Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in Portugal. The academy operates under the motto "Loyalty makes you Family!" and emphasizes values that go beyond competition and technique. At 2 Brothers BFC Feijó, the philosophy centers on 100% dedication, commitment, effort, and support for every student. The team believes in forming not just fighters, but well-rounded individuals who embrace Jiu-Jitsu as a way of life. The head instructor, Professor José Gomes, began his martial arts journey at age 5 with Judo and discovered Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in 2001 through Sandro "Bala" Lima. From the beginning, José Gomes found his passion not only in combat but especially in teaching and motivating students. His primary focus has always been on forming people first, making the 2 Brothers motto a reality. The academy proudly carries the lineage of Mitsuyo Maeda (Conde Koma) → Carlos Gracie → Carlson Gracie → Banni Cavalcanti, representing one of the most prestigious lineages in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu history.

2 Brothers BFC - Monte Da Caparica
2 Brothers BFC was founded in 1995 in Brasília, Brazil by brothers Júlio "Pudim" César da Silva Lima and Sandro "Bala" da Silva Lima. Both brothers trained under Mestre Banni Cavalcanti, who himself was a student of the legendary Mestre Carlson Gracie. This lineage traces back through Mitsuyo Maeda, Carlos Gracie, Hélio Gracie, and Carlson Gracie to Ricardo Delariva, Iliarde Santos, and finally to the 2 Brothers BFC founders. The team has grown from its Brazilian roots to establish a global presence with academies across four continents. In 2000, Sandro Bala moved to Costa da Caparica, Portugal and opened an academy that became instrumental in spreading Jiu-Jitsu throughout Portugal. The Monte da Caparica location continues this tradition of excellence in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instruction. Both founders come from a family of martial artists, training in judo, capoeira, luta livre (wrestling), and Muay Thai before dedicating themselves fully to Jiu-Jitsu under Mestre Banni Cavalcanti in 1995. Today, with over 20 years of dedication to teaching, 2 Brothers BFC has locations in Brazil, Portugal, México, Angola, and Belgium, maintaining their philosophy: "Loyalty makes you family."
