Bitim Grappling Jiu-Jitsu is more than a school – it's a family passionate about the gentle art, led by Herbert Penido (Bitim). Since 2006, when he began his journey in Raposos, Minas Gerais, Brazil, until becoming a reference in the European scene, Bitim has built a trajectory marked by discipline, dedication, and achievements. Founded officially in 2023 in Portugal, Bitim Grappling Jiu-Jitsu has grown solidly and today operates on two fronts: a physical unit and a digital platform. The headquarters in Linda-a-Velha, Oeiras (Lisbon), is the heart of the school. The digital platform breaks boundaries, allowing anyone, anywhere in the world, to train with them and access their exclusive methodology, recognized for its effectiveness and authenticity. The school's master carries nearly two decades of dedication to Jiu-Jitsu. With more than 15 years of experience as a professor, Bitim not only teaches techniques but shapes athletes and transforms lives on and off the mats. Throughout his trajectory, he has trained with great names of the gentle art and established himself as a world reference, both for technical excellence and for his unique way of transmitting knowledge. Even after so many years, Bitim continues active on the mats, competing in major international championships and carrying the school's name worldwide. His major achievements include: Gold and Silver at IBJJF European No-Gi, 11x Portuguese National Champion (IBJJF), 2x Spanish Champion (IBJJF), Triple Gold at ADCC Open, and Gold and Silver at Grand Slam Abu Dhabi. The gym offers specialized programs for different groups: Kids BJJ, Women's BJJ (exclusive classes with female instructor on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6pm), Adult BJJ programs with varying frequencies (3x per week or unlimited), and No-Gi grappling. They also provide private lessons, online mentorship, and an online training platform that extends their reach globally. The school's motto "UNS PELOS OUTROS" (One for the Other) reflects their commitment to unity and mutual support within their community.

2 Brothers BFC is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu team founded in 1995 in BrasĂlia, Brazil by brothers JĂșlio "Pudim" CĂ©sar da Silva Lima and Sandro "Bala" da Silva Lima. Both brothers are students of Mestre Banni Cavalcanti, who trained under the legendary Mestre Carlson Gracie, establishing the lineage: Carlson Gracie → Banni Cavalcanti → 2 Brothers BFC. The two brothers grew up in a family of martial artists, training in judo, capoeira, wrestling, and Thai boxing before finding their passion in Jiu-Jitsu. In 1999, JĂșlio traveled to Hawaii to train with his friend Marcelo Tigre at Team Tiger Academy. That same year, Sandro emigrated to Portugal seeking better quality of life, and in 2000 he opened an academy in Costa da Caparica, becoming one of the major figures responsible for promoting Jiu-Jitsu in Portugal. Today, the 2 Brothers BFC team has grown internationally with over 20 years of dedication to teaching Jiu-Jitsu. The team has multiple locations across Brazil, Portugal, MĂ©xico, Angola, and Belgium. The founders continue to influence generations of students with their philosophy: "Train! Train so that those who come to fight you feel the quarry that you are." - JĂșlio "Pudim" Lima Main instructors include JĂșlio "Pudim" Lima (5th degree black belt), Sandro "Bala" Lima (4th degree black belt), Claudio Lima (3rd degree black belt), Marco Lima (3rd degree black belt), and Claudio Dias (2nd degree black belt).

The Escola de Jiu Jitsu do Mondego was created with the aim of developing and promoting this martial art that revolutionized the world of combat sports. The school approaches Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in its broadest sense, covering historical and philosophical roots, as well as its self-defense and sporting aspects. In order to provide all these experiences in a single space, the Escola de Jiu Jitsu do Mondego pioneered the development and expansion of Jiu-Jitsu in Portugal, which has been consolidating on the international scene with enormous visibility, spreading its philosophy, history and the essence of its technique from both sporting and self-defense perspectives. Head Coach Rafael Silveira, the founder of Escola de Jiu Jitsu do Mondego, has been practicing Jiu-Jitsu since 1995, earning his black belt in 2010 as a direct student of one of the greatest icons of the gentle art, Master Ricardo De La Riva Goded, creator of the world-famous De La Riva guard. Rafael began his martial arts journey at age 5 with Tae Kwon Do, later training in Muay Thai, Boxing, and Wrestling.
