JIU-JITSU ACADEMY BRATISLAVA (also known as Fabio Santos Bratislava) is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy located in the Aircraft Sporthouse facility in Bratislava, Slovakia. The academy teaches authentic Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, which has proven to be one of the most effective forms of self-defense. Founded on the principles established by the Gracie brothers Carlos and Helio in early 20th century Brazil, the academy focuses on ground fighting techniques that allow a smaller, weaker practitioner to defend against and defeat a larger, stronger opponent through leverage, technique, and strategic positioning. The academy offers comprehensive training programs for both adults and children. Adult programs include beginner-friendly Fundamentals classes in gi, intermediate and advanced gi training, and no-gi grappling sessions. The kids program is divided into Mini classes for ages 4-7 and Junior classes for ages 8-14, teaching not only self-defense but also discipline, respect, confidence, physical fitness, and problem-solving skills. The training philosophy emphasizes that BJJ builds character traits essential for success in all areas of life. The instructors at JIU-JITSU ACADEMY BRATISLAVA teach everything from basic self-defense fundamentals to highly technical aspects of sport jiu-jitsu and competition training. Training takes place in a welcoming environment at the Aircraft Sporthouse, with classes running throughout the week including early morning sessions at 7:00 AM for working professionals, afternoon kids classes, and evening adult sessions.
