Budo Clan Spain

Budo Clan is an Italian Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu organization founded in 2010 by Maestro Dario Bacci, a 2nd degree black belt under Jean Jacques Machado and IBJJF international referee. The team has grown to include multiple locations across Italy, Austria, and Spain, all united under the Budo Clan banner and IBJJF affiliation.

The organization's founder, Dario Bacci, brings a diverse martial arts background spanning over two decades. His journey began with Kung Fu at age 12, earning the rank of Sifu (black belt) with specialization in Chin Na after training at Shaolin Temple in China. He later competed in boxing and Sanda with approximately 20 matches before discovering grappling in England in 2002 and transitioning to BJJ in 2004. Since 2007, he has trained regularly in Brazil and the USA, receiving his black belt from Mestre Jean Jacques Machado in 2011.

Beyond teaching, Dario Bacci co-founded the Unione Italiana Jiu Jitsu (UIJJ) in 2012 alongside Maestro Federico Tisi, establishing it as Italy's largest BJJ organization operating under IBJJF's exclusive jurisdiction. As UIJJ president since 2013, he oversees approximately 20 competition events annually. He also founded the Italian Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Referee Corps in 2015, strengthening the sport's infrastructure across Italy and beyond.
