## Overview

**Name:** Base Grapple Club

**Description:** Previously known as VT Jiu-Jitsu, Base Grapple Club trains Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, wrestling and MMA from an industrial estate unit in Chippenham. Coaching draws on an ecological-dynamics approach, using live problems and games rather than isolated drilling. The five-strong coaching team holds black, brown, purple and blue belts under Leigh Remedios, and includes a former Royal Army Physical Training Corps instructor with a sports rehabilitation degree, a Rage UK middleweight champion, and a NAGA Expert Middleweight M1 champion. The weekly schedule runs six days, covering BJJ fundamentals and all-levels classes in gi and no-gi, juniors BJJ, MMA, wrestling and a women's and mixed Sunday open mat.
