Located in Aspen Park Village Shopping Center on the backside (Northside) of the building, across from the post office. Conifer Jiu Jitsu offers Brazilian Jiu Jitsu training serving the Foothills of Colorado with a personalized, technique-first approach. Their approach to jiu jitsu mixes modern sport jiu jitsu with old school MMA-based self-defense for a blend of functional and fun martial arts. The academy provides customizable training regardless of size, strength, and physical ability, believing that there is no one-size-fits-all method for learning Jiu Jitsu. With versatile class times Monday through Saturday, including morning and evening sessions, training is designed to supplement life without sacrificing family time. The head instructor, Philip Miller, is an IBJJF-certified black belt with over 18 years of experience in combat sports and 15+ years of teaching experience. He earned his black belt in December 2014 under Paul Halme at Peak Performance in Keller, Texas, with additional guidance from Travis Lutter and Pete Runez. Philip is a 9-time IBJJF World Championships competitor, earning a bronze medal at the 2014 World No-Gi Championship in the Adult Brown Belt Heavyweight Division. His competition achievements include gold medals at the 2014 Five Grappling North American Invitational in Miami, and bronze medals at the 2015 IBJJF Dallas Open and 2019 IBJJF American Nationals. The academy is registered with the IBJJF and maintains Safe Sport Certification.
