Professor Hector Vasquez, known as 'Mighty Mouse,' has been training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu since 2010. After being defeated by a female purple belt in his first class, he became completely dedicated to the art. Under the direct instruction of Cobrinha, Hector progressed from blue belt to brown belt in just 2 years and has since become a 5x World Champion, 2x World No-Gi Champion, 4x Pan American Champion, and 5x American National Champion. He continues to compete actively while building a competition team in Las Vegas.

At Cobrinha BJJ Las Vegas, students benefit from world-class instruction rooted in the Alliance methodology. The academy offers programs for all ages and skill levels, including Kids BJJ, Adult BJJ (gi and no-gi), Women's Self-Defense, and Muay Thai Striking. Professor Hector's teaching philosophy focuses on technical precision, competitive excellence, and personal development. The academy emphasizes building confidence, discipline, and mental toughness alongside physical skills. With a strong focus on competition training, many students from the academy have gone on to become champions themselves, continuing the legacy of the Alliance team.
