Tsunami Challenge Coin Challenge coins are symbols to commemorate achievements in different disciplines. The coins have their origin in WW1 and some day they originate in the Roman Empire. Today challenge coins can be purchased but are most meaningful when earned and personally presented by a BJJ instructor or senior team members. Jiu-Jitsu students who have trained a long time collect them as memories of the people they've trained with and places they have traveled. Often they are displayed proudly in cases.
