During every class we do positional sparring. Limiting the kids grappling to a specific position in Jiu Jitsu. This type of training allows kids to concentrate on the position we worked on in that particular class. It also allows kids to grapple from positions they don’t always get to try when we do regular rolling. In this video the top person is working on opening the legs and getting passed the bottom person’s legs to pin them on their back. The bottom person is working on rolling the top person on their back and getting an advantage over the top person.
